Anti-snoring devices

Are you kept awake by your partner blissfully snoring away at night? Then this is the solution.

These are bulky to wear but everyone we have ever made one for has sworn by it. Even the snorer admits to sleeping better and waking feeling more rested.

Most of us snore because as we sleep if we end up on our backs usually this allows our lower jaw to drop back and as it does so the tongue is also brought back and partially obscures our airway and consequently the interrupted passage of air trying to get past the tongue is forced and so vibrations occur and hence snoring.

We take an impression of your upper and lower teeth and place them in an articulator (mechanical jaw) with a wax sheet we had you bite into, we set up the set of teeth and manufacture an appliance that looks similar to a mouthguard. This you would then wear at nights and how it works is when you are resting most often y9u have your jaws come together, as they do so the appliance brings your lower jaw forwards and so the tongue comes too thus opening the back of your throat so as air can very easily pass through.

That is why when you move your partner so as they are lying on their side they don't normally snore because the lower jaw has not dropped backwards.

However if you have indulged in substances that make you very relaxed! ,though you may be on your side and/or you are wearing your antisnoring device, your uvula (the dangly thing at the back of your throat) will be slightly inflamed and so "relaxed" it will get in the way of your airway, again it will vibrate and so snoring continues.
